Advie is a small Speyside village positioned where the A95 crosses the River Spey, making it a natural gateway to whisky country. The route connects Grantown-on-Spey with Aviemore through classic Highland scenery, whilst local roads lead to famous distilleries at Cragganmore and Ballindalloch. The old railway viaduct remains a striking reminder of the Victorian line that once served this remote corner of the Highlands.
