Adber is a tiny Somerset settlement near the Dorset border, reached via local lanes connecting to the A359 through Rimpton. The A37 and A303 provide wider connections north to Bristol and east-west to London respectively. Despite its diminutive size, it holds the unusual distinction of being officially designated as a city whilst comprising just a handful of houses along quiet country roads.
