Achlean is a small Highland village in the Cairngorms National Park, reached via the B9152 from the A9 trunk road. Most visitors arrive from Perth or Inverness along the A9, whilst locals use quieter Highland roads to nearby Feshiebridge and Kinrara. Electric vehicle drivers will find about 15 fast chargers nearby, mainly along the A9 corridor. Red deer often graze in fields right at the village edge.
