Achintee is a small Highland settlement on Loch Carron's shores, reached via the A890 from Strathcarron. Most visitors arrive on longer Highland tours or whilst heading to Skye, though it's handy for daily trips to Strathcarron's railway station. The village sits directly opposite Lochcarron across the loch, connected by a narrow causeway that creates a particularly striking view at high tide.
