Abthorpe is a small Northamptonshire village between Towcester and Silverstone, reached via the A43 and local lanes. The area becomes particularly busy during Formula 1 weekends at nearby Silverstone circuit. Electric vehicle drivers have access to roughly 90 fast chargers in the surrounding area. The village's Norman church of St. Peter contains remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
