Abinger Common is a small Surrey Hills village reached via the A25 from Guildford or Dorking, then south on country lanes through ancient woodland. The elevated location means cooler temperatures than surrounding areas, with over 150 EV charging points regionally. The village green contains an 18th-century pound where stray animals were once held until owners paid release fees.
