Aberthin is a Vale of Glamorgan village just off the A48, 2 km from Cowbridge and 20 km west of Cardiff. The M4 provides quick access via junctions 34 or 35, whilst local roads connect to Saint Hilary and other countryside spots. Cardiff International Airport sits 15 km southeast. The 13th-century church of St. David houses an exceptionally well-preserved medieval rood screen.
