Aberfoyle marks the gateway to the Trossachs, where Scotland's Highlands begin. The A81 from Glasgow (40 miles) and Stirling provides main access, whilst the scenic Duke's Pass (A821) climbs northwest to Loch Katrine. About 20 fast charging points serve electric vehicles. The Victorian Scottish Wool Centre dominates Main Street in its original red-brick mill building.
