Aberaman lies in the Cynon Valley amongst the former coal mining communities of South Wales. The A4059 runs through the valley, connecting to the A470 trunk road for Cardiff and the M4. With approximately 90 public EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The nearby Ynysangharad Park features one of Wales' few remaining outdoor lidos, built in 1923.
